What are Private Music Lessons :
A private lesson is formal music instruction on your instrument that lasts from 30-60 minutes on average and generally occurs weekly. Meeting frequently makes it possible for us to set goals and work on them over time with direct guidance.
Private Lessons for brass will focus on things like proper form, breathing, buzzing, pure tone production, technical exercises, playing in time, playing in tune, studying solos, practicing etudes, learning to read music, expand your music listening palette, preparing for auditions, as well as answer any specific questions a student has on their particular instrument or about music in general.
At the conclusion of each lesson a student should walk away with gained knowledge, inspiration, and a focused plan for the following week.
How to Setup a Lesson
1. Email me, text me, or call me.
2. When I get notified I will contact you with additional information.
3. From there we can plan a lesson and prepare to meet online or in person.
Online Lessons
If you are interested in online lessons, I use Zoom. It is free requires an internet connection, a microphone, and a camera. After you have an account I just have to send you a link to join the Zoom session. I am always happy to help students select the best technology that fits their music learning needs.
